This blog will present perspectives on parenting and guiding persons with autism to achieve remediation and realize a more satisfying, productive quality of life. The author is the parent of a child on the autism spectrum and an RDI(R) Program Certified Consultant actively working with families of children on the autism spectrum.
It is very difficult for children with aspergers to interact with others. Even if they manage to talk to others their verbal their verbal IQ will be so high that the other children might not understand what he/she is trying to convey. Children with aspergers will excel in academics but not in any co curricular activities.
ReplyDeleteIt is very difficult for children with aspergers to interact with others. I am the proud mother of a 16 year old Asperger's lad. He excels in individual sports and should excel in academics but the social issues make it difficult for him to cope in the classroom
