Aspergers Remediation Story From South Africa

An RDI mom friend of mine sent me this story about a young man with Aspergers Syndrome in South Africa. The article recounts his story and mentions that his mother believes that RDI has been critical to his progress toward independence.

  1. It is very difficult for children with aspergers to interact with others. Even if they manage to talk to others their verbal their verbal IQ will be so high that the other children might not understand what he/she is trying to convey. Children with aspergers will excel in academics but not in any co curricular activities.

  2. It is very difficult for children with aspergers to interact with others. I am the proud mother of a 16 year old Asperger's lad. He excels in individual sports and should excel in academics but the social issues make it difficult for him to cope in the classroom
